For all of you that don't know, this kid is fighting the watered down Demarcus Corley on ESPN's FNF tonight. I have only seen him fight once last year, in the undercard of an Abner Mares fight. Yet his style and ridiculous size (6'2 according to boxrec, light welterweight) instantly brought memories of a younger Williams to my mind. He uses the jab quite effectively and has some power, which seemed interesting since he is more skinny than a young Manny Pacquiao. Outside of that, all I know is that he is apparently signed to Golden Boy. Do any of the Latino posters have more on this guy?
Hector Sanchez, Paul Williams deja vu?

Since I like to nuthug puerto rican prospects, Im gonna have to say this guy easily beats Ricky Hatton. Ricky Hatton will throw a lot of low blows en route to a DQ loss. Sanchez later challenges Paul Williams to a fight, but Williams pays tribute to his african heritage, and starts running the other way.
Alex De Jesus
Kenny Galarza
Hector Sanchez
for a combined 45(30ko)-1(0ko)-1
Fear the puerto rican lightwelterweights people, fear them.Comment
