1) Paul Williams is MUCH better than Sam Peter, and he has the physical advantages of height and reach over Wright

2) Vitali is a very special fighter, and while Wright is good, he's more of an ordinary fighter.

I think alot of so called boxing fans will eat their words after tonight. Winky Wright deserves more credit than he is receiving, and I don't even like the guy. The man is one of the greatest defensive talents I've ever seen, and not to mention an exceptionally sound, technical boxer. Especially more so than a Carlos Quintana. Paul Williams couldn't deal with Quintana's slickness, but he'll outclass Winky? And don't give me the off night excuse. I can see an off round maybe, but Quintana was schooling him all night. And in addition to Winky's skillset and defensive prowess, Williams has to also deal with the fact that he's a natural Welterweight fighting a guy that has fought and been relatively successful at as high as 170 lbs?

I reember watching the Wright-Trinidad fight, and thinking I'd never bet against this man again. His power was pitiful in that fight, but his defense and form was flawless. Later, he really impressed me in a ****er with Jermain Taylor. I'm in the minority in that I believe Taylor beat him, but Wright displayed some fierce punching power. I have no reason to believe Paul Williams will know how to handle such power. Winky really had to abandon his great defense at several points in the fight, because Jermain begins to throw awkward punches that the best defensive fighter couldn't possibly block or effectively counter. Paul has a great variety of punches, but I doubt he can draw Winky into his fight. Even if he did, I believe the bigger Wright would beat him at his own game.
