Tyson by ko. Toney is good but sooner or later when tyson gets to him, it'll be all over. James might be able to talk **** and intimidate lesser fighters, but no one, I mean NO ONE intimdates 'Iron' Mike. Mike'll hit him so hard he'll be coughing up cream buns and donuts!

whoa, man.....Tyson not bein able to hurt Toney off a glancing blow? I could have sworn when watchin one of the rounds that Roy had James temporarily dazed for a moment, and Tyson hit way harder than he does. But then I might be thinkin of the wrong fight. Either way, Tyson's gonna hunt that body, especially since Toney likes to look kinda soft around there. There ain't no glancing shots to the body, you either hit body or arm, and they both are gonna hurt after a while either way. And alot of you cats are underestimating Roach's training. Tyson isn' a single round fighter.

This would be a good fight. Both fighters impose their will on fighters and don't tend to back away. I don't see Toney taking flush Tyson shots like he took Holy's ...that would be a mistake cuz Tyson may not have stamina but he sure as hell has punching power. Toney is a smart fighter and would avoid Tysons power shots to try and take him into the later rounds. Once James gets Mike into the 8 or 9 rounds he will start to turn up the heat on a tired Tyson and may be able to finish him.

Is this even a serious post? Toney CAN NOT take a Tyson punch not even one. Who is the biggest puncher hes been hit by to make anyone believe he could take a punch by Tyson? Todays Tyson would have Killed Booker in 1 round same with Holyfield. I think at this point in Holyfields career Tye Fileds may be too slick and elusive for him, so Toney being too slick isnt that big of a deal. Tyson has only been beat by physically imposing heavyweights and a slightly over the hill Holyfield, the Holy that Tyson lost to would have dominated Toney now so scratch that. Tyson by KO first real punch he lands.

I think Toney would probably take care of Tyson fairly easily.

Sure, toney is known for his glass jaw. And Tyson of late is known for his KO ability. NOT! Toney never been ko-ed and is KD only ones (more knocked of balance) I believe.
And Tyson could not knock out lewis (who was (T)KO-ed by what-was-his-name-rahman and what-was-his-name-McCall) and Danny Williams.

Toney will just duck Tysons wild swings and dispose of Tyson in the later round (shartly after Tyson sees his own blood).

                Btw Danny Williams imposing?

6'2" 265 lbs is pretty physically imposing in case you've never been in a fight hot shot also Lewis was 6"5" 250 and Buster Douglas was 6'4" 230 so yea compared to a man who is 5'10" thats not too bad. Oh yea and Toney IS known for fighting big HEAVYWEIGHT punchers (sorry this isnt the middleweights anymore)
like Holyfield and the ever-dangerous Rydell Booker. Get out of here Tyson is still one of the hardest hitting heavyweight and Toney hasnt even been hit by a real heavyweight. The uppercut Danny Williams took in the first round would have killed Toney. You also dont need a glass jaw to be ko'ed by Tyson ask Michael Spinks he had never been down until he took a shot from Tyson.

You are making it sound like one of the smartest, toughtest, most skilled, and most experienced fighters today or even ever for that matter (James Toney) would just stick his chin out and expose himself to Tyson. Trust me, Tyson wouldn't have a chance to land that monsterous uppercut on Toney the way he did Williams. Tyson would most likely have to get Toney out of there in the first 5 rounds in order to win this fight and I'm positive that James has enough resources to weather Tysons storm for 5. Toney would avoid getting hit with anything big, he'd work Tysons body over to sap some of that strength, and he'd sit back and accurately counterpunch all while keeping that defense tight. Theres no reason to believe that this fight would go any differently than the Holy fight except that Tyson fanatics still hold onto this pipedream that Tyson is still this ferocious wreckingball who can perform at a high level.
