you guys complain way to much. It's a video game and it's probably going to be the most realistic boxing game to date.
Where Was Pavlik's Right Hand Against Hopkins?

You can't judge it yet as far a realism goes, No REAL gameplay videos. I'm judging from what i've seen so far, which are the videos which were OK and the roster which is poor so far.Comment

There has been a gameplay video released. It wasn't long but it was real gameplay, james toney vs joe frazier. And you could learn a lot by the video, mainly how the new physics engine works, like how james toney was resting on joe's chest and joe's hands/arms were kinda pushing his head down. How punches can glance off someones head, and how body parts react to things.
Looked better than FN3 that's for damn sure.
And imo the roster isn't bad at all. Still waiting for the complete list but it isn't bad. Not too mention, MIKE TYSON is in the game. pfffffft, i'm betting this game will **** all over fight night round 3, which i still play but so many flaws.Comment

He wasnt pushing his head down but in his block mannerism. The video was basically a trailer and not indicative of actual gameplay. They fool people with the inside fighting on these videos and their talk, every sequence and pic they show its one fighter in his block mode and another where his punch shoots thru the guard, not exactly inside fighting as we like or see in real boxing, there is more to it.There has been a gameplay video released. That was actual gameplay. The majority of the video they made it like a trailer, so the action would slow down, or freeze so they could get their message across, followed by several seconds more of the two fighters fighting, but it was actual gameplay nonetheless.
I don't understand the complaints. Does it look better than FN3 to you or not? FN3 has so many damn flaws its very frustrating at times. Based on what I read and seen, this will be a big improvement.
Of course no game can be perfect, so I'm not expecting perfection, and it's impossible to get a perfect roster (no such thing), all I want is a game better than FN3.Comment

Graphics wise it doesnt look as good as FNR3 and isnt supposed to. Many articles have pointed this out, they have a lower frame rate so they can add more fight sequences which takes away from actual detail, this has been well documented. When I say actual gameplay I mean the speed, they only showed about 5 seconds worth of actual speed of the game and they are still tweaking the game so we really dont know what exactly it will look like until the finished product, so far the motions of the fighters are still jerky like in FNR3.That was actual gameplay. What?? It has a higher frame rate, it has a smooth 60fps whereas FN3 was 30. You heard wrong. I can quote you all over the place on that but here is one:
And all of this should happen at a smooth 60 frames per second – a great improvement from FNR3. source
And
the game now runs at twice the framerate (60fps) which means you have graphical quality on a par with V3 but with a much smoother motion, the differences are noticeable and it looks almost liquid in action. source
They are no where near as jerky as in FN3, don't be crazy. And the gameplay video was actually slowed down when they showed both fighters fighting, as they always do in videos, so it's actually faster in real timeWhen I say actual gameplay I mean the speed, they only showed about 5 seconds worth of actual speed of the game and they are still tweaking the game so we really dont know what exactly it will look like until the finished product, so far the motions of the fighters are still jerky like in FNR3.Last edited by ИATAS; 04-09-2009, 06:52 PM.Comment

I stated that wrong, the framerate is higher but because of it being higher the boxers arnt as detailed, thats basically actually what Ive been reading. Ive read I think every article on the game, the framerate is higher which makes it smoother and more lifelike but the details arnt as good as FNR3, sorry but thats what I meant. What?? Higher framefrate, smoother, more lifelike...whats the problem??Comment

No I love it for that reason, but like the articles Ive read, thats why the fighters arnt as detailed, thats what I read. Most dont look like them that much to me, but Id rather have a smoother running game if I had to choose so I understand.Comment
