    Devon Alexander and Lamont Peterson

Who has the brighter future? Who do you see having the better career? And what do you think about their fight game? Alexander is fighting on Spinks-Latimore undercard and Peterson will be on Lopez-Penalosa fighting Willy Blain for interim WBO title. These are the other big up and comers @140 that we don't hear as much about as Victor Ortiz.

I'm thinking Peterson. From what i remember from Alexander, he has a punchers style but he can't punch. All of those punches he landed on Corley and i don't think he even scored a knockdown in that fight, and Corley is a journeyman at best at this stage. Peterson is far more polished and he has a mixture of speed and boxing ability. I remember when he fought on Friday night fights one time and in this one instance, Tesitore said that he reminded him of Roy Jones the way he was leaping in with those hooks.

      both

Devon is nice with his and coming from a paw stance he gives a lot of fighters issues

Lamont has that special mix of power and skill and could contend for a long title run shortly

I think he is more advanced than the two at this point in time but honestly I think both of their upsides can definitely be as good as Vic's

@140 with the prospects of Ortiz, Peterson, Alexander, Alvarado. The champions in Bradley, Kotelnik, Hatton, Urango. Former champions Malignaggi, Ndoudgjo, Holt, Torres. Champs from 135 in Campbell, Marquez, Pacquiao. Plus Amir Khan and whoever else moves up I think there will be plenty of action. And there will be no need for them to move up and fight Cotto or Mosley @147. I think the greater challenges would be @154 for those 2 with Kirkland, Williams, and Angulo.
