so can someone tell me their sources on miguel cotto actually doin drugs. Pics, failed drug test, or a newspaper article. Not that i don't think its possible just a few people are saying this and i wanna know where its comin from. Cheating on his wife, thats just one of the perks of the job.

FIrst because he will never be Tito Trinidad.

Second mIguel have 2 faces, the serious Boxers who at like he was humble and all goood.

And the other one is the Miguel Cotto who do drugs, Gets drunk like a Mo Fo, cheats on his eife, and is a arrogant moron.

The people who lives in the island knows this, Miguel is very irresposile, and his uncle was the only stop he had, for all hi alcohol and partying problems.

The reason why so "many" boricuas including yours truly seem to be dissing Miguel, is because most of us are true fans of the sport and not crazy fanatics that are willing to overlook the actions of a fighter for the promise of greatness. If Tito would have been caught with plaster.. I guarantee you that he would have been severly "dissed" and his status of icon revoked!

With Miguel... the fact is that he is no "people's champion" and his actions yesterday were completly unprofessional to say the least. I personally think that he or his manager - which is suppose to look after the interest of his fighter - should have replaced evaristo a long time ago. But that does not excuse him from HITTING him, specially when his is a professional fighter. He showed a degree of unprofessionalism that is bound to come back and bite his ass.

This is a bad omen for this fight in June. To find a new trainer, deal with the legal issues now pending and be 100% mentally and physically.... it's a bad start. I know that the media in PR is sensationalist and likes to add a little of their own seasoning in order to sell more... so let us see what else is said and done in the next week.

The fight should be either pushed back or cancelled. I already see this as being an excuse if Cotto loses.

I AGREE BUDDY MCGIRT SUCK AS A TRAINER!!!! he ruins boxers!!! i think cotto should get nacho cuz they speak spanish or i wonder if Trinidad sr. is open to do it ive never seen him train anyone other than his son.... but i think it would sell more tickets and ppv if he got trinidad sr. that would make it interesting i would actually watch the fight in that case.... this cotto fight dont interest me...

but like i said before i will bet that miguel cotto and cotto's uncle will forgive each other and cottos uncle will be in cottos corner for the fight!!
