    From what I gather, Cotto hardly speaks English therefore he should hire someone that speaks Spanish. I think during training and especially during a fight a boxer needs to be able to communicate with their trainer directly and not through a translator.

      True, communication is important between a trainer and a boxer.

      As for who should Cotto hired next? I think Jorge Rubio would be a good choice, he's based out of Miami. Seeing how Cotto wants to train in Florida...Rubio wouldn't be a bad choice.

        Goosen would be excellent. He always gives the right advice and doesnt sugarcoat things. He'll let you know if you're losing. Very underrated trainer.

          Joe doesn't leave Cali. He had Chico training in Van Nuys and had Malik Scott move to Cali

          dark horse IMO is Orlando Cuellar.

            Actually Cotto's english is pretty good, he just has a thick accent.
