PW beat Quintana by TKO in round 1

A big right hand from Williams which landed flush on the jaw rocked Quintana. Williams connected with a big left hook that put Quintana on the canvas. Quintana beat the 8 count but another huge left hook then put Quintana into the ropes and back down again on the canvas. the referee had seen called for the bell before the end of the first round.

So who got lucky? And why they are not fighting for a third time?

A lot of people want to see it again, Quintana got caught in the first round and couldn't recover, Williams got straight outboxed . There were 11 rounds left; had Quintana made it past the first anything could have happened!
They should have a trilogy.

Both got lucky. Quintana was lucky that he stuck to his gameplan all night. Williams was lucky that Quintana didn't have enough time to figure his next one out.

neither guy got lucky......

i've always felt PW was overlooking quintana the first time, and probably thought he'd be able to walk right over him......he got surprised by quintana's skill level.

the second fight, PW took quintana more seriously, and although he won't admit it, probably trained harder after being embarassed.
