    If Jermain Taylor

had Paul Williams or Joe Calzaghe's stamina then he'd still be undefeated. There wouldnt have been a draw against Winky either.
Even with his mental lapses and Bow n Arrow right hand he still be top 5 p4p fighter in the world today. The only reason his punch resistance failed in the first Pavlik fight was because his stamina is ****.

    Agree or Disagree??

Taylor has good power, but not 1 punch power. He's tried too hard in some fights to press for a KO and gassed himself out. He did a good job in the Pavlik rematch cuz he fought at a measured pace and didn't try to force any damage. He seemed ok til the end of the 11th when Pavlik drilled him to the body. Can't say 4 sho he woulda beat Pavlik wit better stamina cuz he showed some good stuff in the rematch and still lost a close decision. And Winky shoulda won their fight. That wasn't just cuz of stamina, it was cuz of Taylor takin flurries on the ropes and not raisin his hands to guard the right jab.

Pavlik still would have taken him in both fights.

i tend to think that if taylor had better stamina that he would have been able to finish pavlik in their first fight. not too sure about the second fight though

If he had better stamina, then I think his career would be much different right now. Unfortunately, with Jermain, you say "what if?" to much. I still think he can take over 168.

He was backin to the ropes and eatin jabs wit his lead hand low from the 1st rd on. It had nothin to do wit him bein tired. That was just ****** strategy homey.

I think too many people hate on Taylor. Dude is way good. Its not his fault he had to fight Bhop twice, Winky, Spinks, Ouma, and Pavlik back to back, then Lacy. Who the hell is going to look good against those dudes? That has got to be one the toughest scheduals for fights in a row ever.

I think people dislike his because he god the nod against Bhop and Winky. Like that was his fault. At least he comes to fight.
