I doubt Froch will duck anyone. He's 31 now and he must realise he doesn't have long left to fight at the top level. If he beats Taylor I see him taking a mandatory and then fighting Kessler. That's where the money is.

Those "wins" were arguable, Tunney. There are plenty of people who felt it could have gone either way in both fights, and plenty of people who felt 'Nard won. Hopkins should have been busier, he didn't do enough.

But if we must bring triangle theory into it, let's bear in mind that Taylor lost twice to Pavlik... and Pavlik was annihilated by Hopkins.

That's true, but Taylor has been competitive with world-class opponents, while Froch has never really fought anybody who's world-class.

Pascal is a decent fighter, but obviously not on the same level as Taylor's opponents such as Hopkins and Pavlik.

Doesn't need to work in this case, Froch hasn't fought no wheres near the competition as taylor. Taylors defense is also superior to Frochs, Taylor does everything better then Froch. Speed, Power, and movement. I use the word power because Froch has basically only ko'd journeyman. This isn't a little step-up for Froch it's a huge one.
