    Hopkins should fight Taylor

If Taylor beats Froch, Hopkins should fight Taylor in a trilogy and then retire. He's not gonna fight Dawson, Adamek can get $500,000 fighting a lesser opponent, Paul Williams is too brave for his own good and would prob go up in weight to challenge Hopkins.

Taylor trilogy at 168 for the belts will give Hopkins a chance at being a 3 division champion and a chance to get his revenge at his 2 very controversial (some say robbery) fights with Taylor.

    I wouldn't mind that.

I still think he's going to retire though. He's just milking his time, I think he likes his name in the media.

It would be an interesting fight with plenty of drama leading up to it.

Taylor's not great at any one thing but is quick enough to catch Hopkins and strong enough to hurt him, which is why Hop fought him so tentatively in their previous fights. That unwillingness to take risks is what ultimately cost him both decisions, as he was clearly the more skillful boxer of the two on both nights.

Taylor's athleticism would still pose the same risks to Hopkins at 168 (or a catchweight), and IMO he is a smarter fighter than when he won the first two fights. He sits on his punches more, he is moving a little better, staying off the ropes most of the time, etc.

At the same time if Hopkins is willing to take the same kind of risks he took against Pavlik, and let his hands go, he could cause Taylor all sorts of problems.

A few years ago it would've been a waste of time but enough has happened since they met the first time, with both men developing in different ways, to make me want to watch.

It's time for him to retire..I would like to see hopkins fight again too but this is a good time to hang up the gloves..Right after an amazing performance he had on Pavlik..I'd hate to see his last fight of him just getting demolished by somebody like what happened to De la hoya...I dont think that could happen though.
