He already fought Johnson and destroyed him and that #2 ranking is pretty questionable since he took a rematch with a guy he already beat once rather than taking on Glen johnson who in a lot of peoples eyes beat Chad dawson the first time they fought.

Plus Hopkins fighting Dawson seems really underwhelming to me. I wanna see Hopkins go out against a big name, not some guy who's only fan is Mayweather JR.

You're overreacting. This is the type of response I'd expect if the fight was actually signed, not if B-Hop slightly mentioned wanting to fight him.

Let's not forget, it wasn't long ago Hopkins wanted to fight Adamek and that didn't go through.

Before that, he was on about fighting Maskaev, and that didn't go through.
