He was on ESPN 2 co-feature and loooooooong time ago and absolutely wowed all of us, and i havent heard about him since.

No clue. Never heard of him. Tried to look him up but couldn't find anything. You might have the name wrong.

If it is Vernon Paris, for some reason, his last 2 fights have been changed to NC's.....and he hasnt fought in a year........maybe they caught him with plaster.....

Wait just read he failed drug tests for his last 2 fights, then was stabbed badly in may of last year, he still lives.....

He hasn't fought in more than a year since being stabbed and moving to Florida to get away from the trouble.

His last two fights have been turned to NC after failing a drug test and then failing to submit to one after his last fight. Here is the article on the subject.

Paris Hearing Postponed

Wednesday’s scheduled hearing in Lansing against pro boxer Vernon “Iceman” Paris was postponed, department officials reported Friday morning.

June 18 had been the date set to hear a regulatory complaint against Paris alleging that he failed a drug test following his December 13, 2007 fight with Kevin Carmody. Paris won the fight by technical knockout and, in the process, won the World Boxing Foundation (WBF) All-America’s Welterweight title. That title will almost surely be stripped from Paris if he is found responsible, although WBF officials have refused to comment.

A third complaint was issued against Paris in March alleging that he failed to submit to a post-fight drug test the month before following yet another win, this time against Nasser Athumani.

A new hearing date is now set for July 28 where it is anticipated that both the second and third complaints will be heard together. State officials report that a settlement may negate the need for that hearing.

Alright I dug up some very interesting stuff now that i have his real name.

Apparently he was stabbed Very badly back in 2008. Maybe he could never recover.
