  • So I saw the Tyson Documentary lastnight...

...and I was very impressed. It's pretty much a sit down with Mike as he chronicles his entire life from when he was a stick up kid in Brooklyn all the way to his last fight with McBride. It's a real emotional movie filled with laughs, great footage of Mike's past fights, and just sad stories that inevitably turn Mike's life upside down. You really get to see Mike for who he really is and it was done in such a way that the average person who looked at Tyson over the years as this animal (which at a point he was) might turn their cheek and have some compassion for him.

I definitely recommend it for any Boxing fan or anyone who wants to hear an amazing rise and fall story of one of Boxing's biggest and most notorious names.

Gr8 ****in movie. Kinda cool, kinda sad, very informative. A lotta the stuff from the movie he's discussed before in other interviews, but the movie was real in depth and it was all str8 from Tyson himself. Next boxing get together nite I have I gotta get my homies who ain't seen it yet to check it out.

i also liked it and let me tell you, boxing needs another fighter like that. his prime was short but so explosive and distructive.....he couldve accomplished so much more.....such an underahiever even tho he became world champion..

it was real sad watching how he went from being such a great fighter to losing to kevin mcbride..

      great film.

This is a must see for boxing fans. It was like sitting down with Tyson and asking him to tell you his life story. It couldn't have been much better. Loved the fight footage added in too.

Highlights for me were his detailed accounts of the second Holyfield fight, his life with Cus, and his dwindling interest in his fighting career as he got more famous. Mike had some more of his famous quotes in that movie too. I caught myself laughing a few times.

It was a very good documentary, it felt kind of odd seeing Mike Tyson holding back tears.

Really makes you think about teh Holyfield bout second bite.

obviously Tyson is to blame for biting Holyfield, he admitted this. But Holyfield did get away with his insane constant head butting. Pretty ridiculous that Tyson had gashes opened up on his head by head butts in BOTH fights.
