av always thot of kotelnik as a weak bum,its nothing new why does khan have to cherry pick every opponent its laughable

It's a step up, it's a good fight for Khan. I mean when Ortiz was fighting him it was a good matchup for rising star Ortiz now for Khan it's easy match making

I don't think thats true, Kotelnik isn't a huge puncher but he's good enough. Khan has been dropped by guys with 7 KOs in 20+ fight coming up from Super feather. He easily has enough power to KO khan.

Yea he has decent power but not good enough to give him an egde in fights with the best at 140, I have seen many of his fights and if he had more power he could have been the MAN at 140 but like you said he has enough power to give Khan trouble.

This is a great fight and opportunity for Khan IMO.

i dont think anybody is saying kotelnik was good when facing ortiz and now he sucks because he's facing khan,,,no,theres a difference, the fight itself sucks because khan is being carefully matched with guys who don't hit,he's been knocked down, wobbled by jabs and ortiz hasn't,so against ortiz it was ok,now its laughable with khan,,,khan just jumped the division and didn't face guys like soto, antillon, marquez, guys who can ****,in the jr welter division kotelnik nor bradley are punchers, would like to see khan against ortiz..

khan ortiz wont happen for a long time. khan will get a belt under his name and defend it for years against nobodies. you heard it hear first his first defence will be against gavin rees, he had the wba belt for a bit so could become the mandatory and frank warren would give khan an easy win and gavin a pay day he couldnt get anywhere else. the number one contender is salita who is nothing, and then maidana who is average. khan is already box office popular in the uk and at 22 he could go five years fighting no ones and get richer than god/allah doing it. anyone know if they have said if its a permanent move up?

agreed, although i think hatton would want his last fight to be at the city of manchester
haha if khan won there would be nationwide riots i think

lol i actually agree..but you never know it could be a really good thing as it would mean the ending of 1 british superstar who in this fight is passing the torch to the new british superstar, would be good for the u.k and i think alot would get behind khan after that if he won and ricky retired.
