    Edwin Valero

It amazes me how everyone is excited about this guy. Obviously he is exciting and brings the knockout. But lets examine who he has fought. The best fighter he fought was Vicente Mosquera a C+ fighter and Valero had some problems before stopping him. Everyone else is at about a D level or worse.

As soon as he fights a B level fighter or higher he will be exposed. His management is trying to milk him for all they can before fighting a real risk.

Juan Diaz would decision him, Nate Campbell would decision him also, Joan Guzman same thing. Katsidis i think is capable of stopping him. Pacquiao KO in the first 7 rounds, Marquez ko's him as well. Humberto Soto can beat Valero. And I wouldnt rule out Bresidis Prescott from beating Valero either.

Let's just see Valero against these type of guys before we say he's the guy to end Pacquiao's reign.

You should watch some of the videos of his sparring guys like Urbano Antillon and Erik Morales and all kinds of guys he beat the **** out of.

The hype isn't from who he beat in a fight, it's from who he made look bad in the Southern California gym wars.

That's why insiders hype him so much. He's owned a lot of good pros in sparring hence the hype.

That's why for years people have been talking about him.

Sure, he needs to be tested in a real fight. But there is a reason for this hype.

To add, Breidis Prescott is more overrated than Valero at this point.
I've seen him three times and twice he's looked bad.
He gained all his fame on the Khan knockout but his power isn't a scintillating as people think.

I like him for the same reasons why I liked Marg, he's a familiar lookin guy that can ****. He's obviously bound to get outclassed sooner or later, but I like him and will be watchin him.
