Regardless of his faults in the ring he mastered the true objective of the game unlike any fighter prior to him: money.

How do you know Oscar was the brains behind these decisions?

One on One, Oscar appears to be the dumbest thing people have seen. In the Gym training him (Roach and Mayweather Sr both said he's an idiot), his actions outside the ring (lipstick and panties, WTF), inside the ring (entering the ring 145lbs, LOL).

The only legitimate example of Oscar not being ****** is his company, which none of us even know if he's even operating.

because Sr's ******* dialect is closer related to the English accent than the American accent.

also probably because most of what Sr. taunt didnt help De La Hoya's style out at all, and went against all the stuff he learned from his previous coaches, so he was reluctant to listen to him.

                  I can agree with that.

This is not aimed at you at all, but apparently he's also mastered the art of building an army of blind nuthuggers.

So did why Roach call him an idiot in the gym as well? He said he couldn't cut off the ring and constantly would forget what to do and lose focus. He even joked and said, "It's amazing that he's come as far as he did".

its the end of his career, he cared more about making cash than winning for his legacy.

fighters lose focus in the gym and dont want to be there training after a certain point. it happens to a lot of fighters.

and Sr and Roach both might be boohooing that their cash cow Oscar dumped them for another trainer. but who knows.
