In light of the IBF possibly forcing Clottey to fight a pointless mandatory or strip him of his belt, resulting in the Cotto fight to be a non-unification bout, I took a look at our current champions in all of the weight classes.

Out of all the names, and in the four major bodies (WBA, WBO, WBC, IBF), these are the ONLY guys that have two belts (not including The Ring Belt):
Wladimir Klitschko - IBF, WBO
Kelly Pavlik - WBC, WBO
Timothy Bradley - WBC, WBO
Juan Manuel Marquez - WBA, IBF
Celestino Cabbelaro - WBA, IBF
And there is only ONE name with three belts:
Vic Darchinyan - WBC, WBA, IBF
It really sucks and hurts our sport that we cannot have more unified champions. Most divisions have four champs, some you never even heard of or guys that are basically up & comers. It pisses me off when I hear about these corrupt organizations doing whatever they can to NOT allow a unification to occur. Greedy bastards.
Anyways, it irritates me and thought I'd point it out. Also, much props to all the fighters that actually try to unify, it does mean something. Carry on.
