Well, i seriously dont know, i think it's how he lost to mayweather.... brutal.. Hopkins do what ever the F&^% he wants and still be ranked in the top 5. What i dont get is when people say pavlik is overrated, but put benard in much higher status. If you think pavlik is overrated then that means it really wasn't that good of a win..

        Hatton says it CONSTANTLY.

The reason he can't is that there are some people out there who already feel that JMM deserves P4P #1.

Casamayor knockout > D. Diaz knockout

        J. Diaz knockout > slapping an anorexic ****** for nine rounds.

Hatton got KO'd in a comical fashion just a couple of fights ago. There are other fighters who have a better body of work recently.

i think if he beat pac by KO.....he should be ranked 2 or 3 on the p4p list.....if he beats pac by a decision....he should be #4......then if he beats marquez he should be number 1 after that....i dont know how anybody can disagree with that?

It's funny that he'll never find out that he wouldn't have got to number 1 anyway.

If Hatton beats pac then JMM becomes p4p #1.

Then if Hatton beats JMM you cant deny Hatton the p4p#1 status.

look at it this way, Hatton is clearly substantially worse than Israel Vazquez (best pressure fighter in the game right now), Juan Manuel Marquez, Bernard Hopkins, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, Rafael Marquez... Hell, even Vic Darchinyan and Ivan Calderon are better than Hatton

things'll need a temporary reshuffling up in the top ten pound-for-pound, because the lesser boxer triumphing complicates things

Why, how many times does he have to beat him, then? Two? Three? Ten?

What a load of crap. Of course he will have proven himself better, until he loses a rematch anyway. A win wouldn't make Hatton p4p #1, but it would put him above Pacquiao.

If he beats Pac, Hatton will be PFP number 1 and there's nothing any fat yank can do about it.

Soooo, you're Ok with hatton beating guys coming UP in weight constantly? That is my beef with Hopkins.

A 'POUND FOR POUND' guy should be able to move to/through a couple of different weight classes.

That represents the past fifteen years or so for the P4P #1/#2.

Hatton seems to kinda hide at JWW, and i don't like that. Still he is gonna wear Manny's ass out.
