Ray Leonard was VERY GREEN when Roberto Duran beat him, he didn't have the power or boxing knowledge that he had only a few years later. Duran is a very overrated fighter.

He wasn't quite at his peak yet but he wasn't green. The man only had seven fights after that up through Hagler, when would you consider him "experienced"

I'm a huge fan of Leonard and I'll tell you Sugar Ray was game for that fight. he simply made the mistake of fighting Duran's style. That doesn't make a fighter Green because he lost. He adjusted and came back and well...we all know what happened there.
