        Waste of time. Nice to see the US government is focused on the important issues Dead is dead, and Johnson was such a firebrand I doubt he'd give a damn even were he alive, save to milk the publicity it would garner.

              I don't think that's the point, this law should've never been a law and it was only created to protect white women..

                There is no point. It's a meaningless gesture to waste time and let politicians feel good about themselves for being a part of a machine that thrives on inaction in anything of import. Johnson isn't alive to appreciate it, and as far as I know never even had any children. The last thing Johnson was ever concerned with was what government officials thought of his behavior - irony at its finest.
