Why did David Haye sign the contract if he didn't like it?

Was he forced to? No, he decided to.

Does an intelligent man sign a contract he doesn't want to sign?

Why didn't he earn his title shot like Thompson, Povetkin and JC Gomez did, by fighting in a final eliminator?
Cuz its the easiest way to a title/money fight with the Klitskos. Haye has only fought twice in the heavyweight. Barrett is the only notable win he has so far. He is not even ranked by the Ring mag or other media in the top 10(except for the British Boxing Monthly, have him in the top 5). Which one would you rather have, straight to a title shot or fight other heavies to earn that title shot?
