vitali cut was a big factor in the fight. Lennox retired just not to give him the rematch. If he wasn't afraid he'd lose he would've given vitali the rematch and then retired while earning some extra cash, but he didn't want to take that risk.

Great point. I think Vitali now will have some problems with Haye based on his performance against Gomez. Dude looked his age, the Vitali that fought Hoffmann would handle Haye steadily.
