He actually says that his sparring partners have been "absolutely exceptional" and Floyd and Lee Beard have been really pleased with his sparring.
exactly... in other words things are going so well that he's worried that his sparring partner's arent up to the task, obviously, of emulating pac's style.

honestly, i don't think anyone can emulate pac's style, but the best hatton can do is fight as many southpaws as he can and get used to the angles. then when he fights pac, he will have to make in-the-ring adjustments to pac.

that, or hatton can just start grappling pac from the get go... nothing spoils your opponent's style like grappling does.

Hatton has done it before but it doesn't make it any more fun lol.. I'm sure Manny doesn't particularly enjoy doing it himself

I would love to see Ricky become the greatest Pound for Pound fighter on the planet by beating the great Manny Pacquiao, but I think he is sadly in decline, just as Manny is hitting his peak.

The Ricky Hatton that steps into the ring in Las Vegas on May 2nd will not be the same Ricky Hatton who demolished Castillo or Kostya Tszyu, but a shadow of his former self.

To my fellow Englishmen and my fellow Brits: please stop displaying such a hubris attitude to this match.

I know it is only natural for people to desperately want such a charitable and affable character to win such a huge fight, and it is only natural for so many to support Ricky so vociferously, but some are taking it too far and are making us look like arrogant buffoons.

Of course he won''t be #1. He'd need to do a lot more to get to the top spot.

So despite the fact he looked revitalised in his last fight and in his training camp for this fight - we should trust your word that he is gonna turn up as a shadow of his former self? And you know this how??
