Who cares about his sparring. I've sparred professionals and looked good and im still amateur. If I stepped in the ring with one of them in a real fight my as$ would get handed to me. Sparring and fighting are completely different.

Gato Figueroa sparred Mosley, Cotto, and Hatton, and looked good against all of them. Then he stepped in the ring with Randal Bailey and got destroyed. The same Bailey Cotto destroyed.

Im sick of hearing about Valero's sparring. Sparring and fighting are not the same thing, not even close.

I think Valero's a good fighter, but I don't think his sparring holds any ground on how he will perform on the elite level in a real fight.

Valero is a joke, but I haven't seen his last fight but he is the least technical fighter I've seen from some videos on youtube. The dude punches like a mule, but I don't see how punching really hard does anything against an elite if all his punches miss their target and he gets countered and probably dropped on his ass.
