How far off base am I...

When Sam Peter was getting ready to make his first title defense, they were considering Audley Harrison as a possible opponent. I've never thought Harrison was a great fighter, then again I never thought that of Sam Peter either.

But something in me had me thinking that Harrison would have unseated Peter and further muddled the muck we call the heavyweight division.

Sounds really sick and ridiculous, but I just always felt that way given the styles.

Very off base, and I agree that I've never seen either as anything too special.

Of course having seen Martin Rogan beat him up has altered perceptions somewhat but I saw some nice things early against Sprott and Williams that made me think he could get some good things done against Peter.

Very off base..... Harrison is scared to get hit.... the mere reputation of Peter would have made the boy poop himself.

(theoretically Harrison does have the tools to beat a fighter like Peter, only problem is Audley has no idea how to use those tools)

If the Audley Harrison form Harrison V Williams 2 showed up he could have done a number on Peter.

That version of Harrison, who sadly was only ever spotted once is one of the best heavyweights seen in recent years.

Danny Williams has a habit of bringing that out of some guys.

harrisons made no improvement from 8 years in the pros. hes basically the same fighter he was when he turned pro. all the physical attributes are there but an over baring amature style of not getting hit and a reluctance to properly engage in a fight

you can tell nothing from what someone does against Williams, because Williams doesnt always come ready to fight. Sometimes he comes in a solid competitor, other times he comes in like a bum.

I don't think Peter is very good at all.

                    But Audley has no heart.

I'd pick a lot of guys from 175, **** maybe even 168 and up to get Peter, he's so ordinary, everytime I have seen him. I'm not even sure he is a legitimate puncher at the top level; his punches only arrive after a postcard and a bunch of flowers have been sent to the recipient.

Chad Dawson,Glen Johnson, Bernard Hopkins, Mikkel Kessler, Thomas Adamek they all beat him imo. Sure there is loads more too.
