Its a bunch of great talent at both. So for me [not a fan of Floyd] cant hate on the guy for fighting a JMM or Pacquiao. Thoughts??
He needs to fight the lineal Welterweight champion(Cotto or Mosley) to get "respected". Pac fight is more of a who's the the truth in this generation?

Juan Manuel Margues and Manny Pacquiao are both great fighters, but their still smaller than Floyd. These guys are coming from fighting at 122, 130 etc. Manny has had only one fight at 135 and one in 147lbs. If Manny was a bigger fighter it would be different. Mayweather is taller than both of them. If Mayweather really wants to prove himself he has to fight a Berto, Mosley. But I'm not sure he would come back if it wasn't cause smaller fighters like Pacquiao and J.M. Marguez moved up in weight.

The boxing world will not shut up even if he takes on Cotto or Mosley but it give them a sense of satisfaction that he faced a top dog of the division!!!

I haqve no problem with him fighting Pacquiao or Marquez for the money (though I don't think he'll fight Marquez), but being he left the sport as the Welterweight champ, it would only be fitting to fight whomever the top WW is which in this case is either Cotto or Mosley. People would nut their pants for either of those fights.

Agreed! He would have to atleast beat Cotto. I don't want to see him take on Mosley or Pac and then retire.

Yeah i hear you....If Floyds ever comes back should fight 2-3 more times.
Mosley is the lineal Welterweight so Cotto has some unfinished business to make it more lucrative for floyd to come back, Pac is definitely about the hype it can produce(real/fantasy) depending at what weight he fights pac.....
