If Mayweather wants to claim to be a welterweight and claim to be the best in the divison he has to prove it or stfu.. simple as that.
why do you think he retired? because he couldn't prove it so he stfu..
he old news. retired, no one cares anymore anyway.

Not necessarily. I would like to see him fight Cotto or Pacman.

well there is the double standard because p williams height and weight more than any other welterweight. Also if you are going to claim you are the best welterweight you have to fight a real welterweight. if he is going to come back and claim that he is the best light ww then fight pac and hatton but if he is going to claim he is the best ww then he needs to fight mosley or cotto

the general boxing fan will pay to watch anybody fight pbf.
and theyre the ones with the most money.
i personaly think he should tend to the wltwt division.
first fight should at least be a fringe belt holder.
a pac/boyfloyd does not interest me.

i am not trying to start any name calling with you but oscar frame is way bigger than floyds so that allowed him to fight at higher weights. I have met floyd in person and the guy is small. infact I have met floyd and pacquiao in person. And honest to god truth, Pacquiao and Floyd are damn near the same size.
So I dont know if you made this post just for a joke or just to hate. But context means alot. and at Welterweight No fighter had size advantages over Oscar.
in fact I would say out of all the divisions Oscar been in, I would say Welterweight was his most Natural. Because he had the right size to compete their and his power was most effective their, thats why when Oscar retires he will go into the Hall of Fame as a Welterweight.

How old was Pacquaio when he was at 108? Pacquaio had no amateur experience that i am aware of, so most people would say 108 and 113 was where he was a amateur to at.
I think Freddie roach even said he was a boy back then at 108 and 113. thats why nobody holds those 2 knockouts against him. Because at 108 or 113 he was just a boy and was still learning how to box. I start to judge pacquaio at 120. Because thats when you could tell he was a man and he wasnt just going in their throwing punches. Thats when he had a gameplan. and thats when he was most effective.

Floyd @ Jr. Middle Weight = 1 Fight (WBC Champion) P4P#1
                    Floyd @ WW = 4 Fights (WBC,WBO, IBO Champion) P4P#1
                    Floyd @ Jr WW = 3 fights (WBC Champion)P4P#1
                    Floyd @ Lightweight = 4 Fights (WBC Champion) P4P#2
                    Floyd @ Jr. Lightweight = 27 Fights (WBC Champion) TOP 5 P4P

Ummm I wonder what Division floyd will be place in when he goes into the HOF?
I am pretty sure it will not be Welterweight.

Floyd can come back to Jr. Middleweight, Welterweight, or Junior Welterweight. It doesnt matter because at the end of the day he is going into the HOF as a Jr. Lightweight/Superfeatherweight

co-sign aslong as he fights a legit elite guy at 140 or 147 that is also a big money draw people should have respect for him
