I think Funeka would beat Valero, just way too much size, and that jab would be in his face repeatedly.

Guzman will have the best chance of beating him on points. Pac might have the best chance of knocking him out. Valero would destroy the others including Marquez. You either need an iron chin and big punch or possess elite defense and don't get hit to beat someone like Valero.

Juan Diaz would hurt him pretty badly

Really? Nate or Juan Diaz ain't beating him? Nate has a really underated body attack, best believe Valero's power will be nothing once Nate deals with the body for the 1st 4 rounds

And Juan Diaz wouldn't give Valero any room to punch.

id favor Guzman to outbox him(but Valero alwasy ahs a punchers chance)

i think Valero's power can get to Marquez badly, but **** it, i cant just pick against a living legend.....

He wouldn't beat the ones' in bold. The one in Italics is a toss-up due to his last performace.

Oops all are in italics, I meant Casamayor.

Just remember JMM has dealt with a better south paw. Not only that, can you seriously tell me Pac wouldn't have build the same record Valero did, had he faced that kind of weak opposition?

Which is unfair on Amir IMO. He's very talented, but like you say, his chin will always be his achilles heel.

If he gets a good defense working under Roach, he's world title worthy. He's a better boxer then Valero IMO.
