Zab is way smaller than those guys so of course he wouldnt have been competitive. He was at 140 for the longest and even at 147 he is still a small 147 who can still make 140 if he wants.

Zab just plain didn't belong in the WW division. He can beat a less-than-sturdy WW like Spinks. But the big boys? Baldomir, Clottey, etc? Not for him.

If Zab had stayed at JWW, he still could have done good things. Floyd and Forrest proved that you just can't hurt Baldomir. That was the worst possible opponent for him. Zab wants to hurt guys. He isn't a technical artist like Floyd. Bad matchmaking. Bad management. Bad promotion.

I think your missing the point though. Judah was by far the better talent between the two and never lived up to the hype.

People expected Judah to be on top for a long time and never had the discipline to do it.

Vargas on the other hand was a good prospect but made it through some tough fights with his toughness alone.

I think Zab's career is a bigger bust than Vargas. I don't think that Vargas has even been a bust, he was just progressed to rapidly.
