        @ Thread starter

You have to earn your pound for pound status in this sport, something no one can question Pacquiao of not doing.

Your opinion on Valero is all ifs and buts. I understand what you are saying but your logic is flawed, seriously flawed. Sparring is sparring, they are not world title fights. Valero has fought no one yet but he is definitely making the right moves to get those big fights he deserves.

His time will come but he has to earn it. Success doesn't just happen over night for being sparring partners for the top boys. It will get his name out there but it isn't gonna make him climb the p4p ladder.

I think the bottom line is Valero and "P4P" should not be put in the same sentence (yet). He has to prove he's that caliber of fighter. He can have 25 KOs, but they mean nothing against sub par fighters. Him beating an Amir Khan, David Diaz, Katsidis, Juan Diaz, etc will make that claim a little more reasonable (but still not definite).

I never said Pacquiao didn't earn it. I just feel other fighters could have accomplished the same feats, if give the opportunity.

Valero needs the chance to make a statement, even if some people don't see him as deserving it. I mean, who the hell was Pacquiao before the first Barrera fight anyway.

I think he's earned it just as much as David Diaz or Solis have earned a shot at Pacquiao. I'd like to see him face Marquez next, or at least Guzman since both are undefeated.

Valero is limited, he will never be P4P number 1. Pacquiao and Marquez will take advantage of his defensive holes and exploit them and he will lose.

Guzman would outbox Pacquiao and laugh at his power!

Marquez has lost before, he could easily lose again. He lost to Chris John, I'm sure Valero would have knocked him out if they ever faced eachother.

Pacquiao already lost to Morales who was washed up. He drew with Sanzhez who would have won if it wasn't for his numerous point deductions.

                    Guzman and Valero are undefeated.

Pac's management will never put him in with Valero. That would be suicide.
                      Pac don't like big punchers.

And plus Valero don't bring in big money so it will never happen.
