    Just spoke to Billy Dib...

He just beat an unbeaten guy by the name of Davey Brown in Australia on a technical decision.

He's a pretty cool guy, very humble. He says he wants to come back and give a better showing of himself to America in two fights.

Here's what he said about the Luevano fight:

"It was a bad fight in terms of styles. He is a good counter puncher and so am I, it's just he sat back all night waiting for the counter. I guess I should have put it on the line. Next time I get my shot to fight on the big stage I'm coming out guns blazing either they get iced or I get iced."

    On Anthony Mundine:

"He has a lot of natural talent, I'm not sure why he ain't fighting the big guys. He has a chance."

He seems like a nice enough kid.

But I honestly won't watch him again until word gets back to me that he's worth watching.

The performance he had against Luevano, well......it wasn't even a performance. It made Spinks/Taylor look like "The Thrilla in Manila".

I really got the feeling he realized he left a sour taste with the fans and wants to prove himself. He's supposed to fight in June again, though his opponent has signed yet.

That's cool, and it's nice that you got that feeling.

But I won't be watching it.

If he does well, and impresses people, the word will be out around here.

And I'll download and watch it then.

I might even become a fan one day.

But until he impresses people, I won't be watching.

I still have that sour taste in my mouth that you speak of.

Only saw "The Kid" on a Cotto under prior to Luevano, and remember thinking he looked...interesting.

But the comedy of that Luevano performance entertained me too much, I can't think of Dib in those furrow-browed, chiding terms. Don't know what to make of him, except I got perverse fun out of watching it. Fuck it, I'd watch him again. LMAO

Well put man. I was at that awful fight, and before it started I told my bro 'mann we are in for the best undercard of the entire event.' I looked like quite the ******* after that statement. I dunno maybe he will someday not be such a little ***** who loves to suck balls, if that's the case then more power to him, but till then I just hope he dies.
