As a fan of Bradley I was really impressed by how he got up & continued to fight & get stronger as the fight went on. clearly he is a better fighter than Holt but lets be real. While he would be competitive for the most part I think Hatton/Pacquiao might be too much for him right now.

Bradley should fight a couple of more tough, heavy punchers or at least 1 more guy, maybe even Nate Campbell. The one thing Hatton & Pacquiao won't do when they get Bradley hurt is let him recover & be the aggressor. Holt folded because he couldn't KO him in one punch & couldn't take the pressure.

Bradley Unifies the belts and takes the division, he can already beat Urango and Kotelnik. By that point he should be ready for Pacman/Hatton/JMM. He is already elite. His tenacity would win him a fight against any of those already IMO. I still say he is the best at 140, start the flames.

You think he could beat Hatton or Pacquiao? Coming in all wide open for flush power shots? If Holt kept his jab up and fought more active he could have pulled it off but with that said, Bradley is a tough 140 & is good enough to give any of them a run for their money but he needs to learn how to sit on his punches.

I think that’s the point, Holt gave it away with his low work rate. His jab was causing Bradley all manner of problems, but once bradley got into his body Holt shrank away for most of the fight. It was interesitng to watch seeing as this is a red hot division with Hatton, Pacman and the likes of JMM, Juan Diaz and Nate campbell joining the party there are a lot of match ups to be made.

As I watched the fight I thought, they are both solid enough champions in an age when there are so many belts around, but I think Hatton would beat both with ease.

Holt is a tall light welter who obivously has some **** but I think Hatton would break that body and I wouldn’t see it going the distance. Holt can fight a rubber match with Torres which I am sure could be for the light welter mandatory for the WBO. To be fair if I was Holt I would go after Urango, ok the big lump has improved slightly but I think if Holt puts his mind to it he could box his head off.

Bradley doesn’t do anything wrong, he has a big heart and is very driven, I will be eternally grateful to him for getting rid of Witter (who has all the talent in the world but is so infuriating to watch), but I don’t think he is ready for the likes of Hatton yet…It could be a barn stormer of a fight, I think it all depeneds on what Hatton has left after the Pacman fight (or what either of them have left to be honest). If I was him he should go after Kolentik how again has a reasonable jab on him which is what seemed to cause Bradley problems, but that would be another belt making him even more marketable.

I hate the fact each division can effectively have five champions, there should only be one, if bradley starts mopping up titles and pushing himself on for bigger fights, then fair play I will support him.

I think win or lose he wont get Hatton next he will go for either JMM (if he wins) or Nate Campbell (if he loses) after that maybe Bradley may get a shot.

I just wished the best would fight the best, in some ways Pacman and Hatton does that at least for this division.

Bradley's flaws were clearer in this fight but he's still a very well rounded fighter, I can't believe how well Bradley took that left hook from Holt, almost every other person would not have been able to get up and compose himself like Bradley was able to do, he has a great chin and is in great condition. Bradley can become a pound for pound fighter in a couple of years.

I think so to. I was very impressed when all said and done.

He really does remind me of Terry Norris not just in looks, but in style. He has that speed of foot and fluid movement that Norris had, and when he gets in range he lets both hands go like Norris. He might be a bit slicker than Norris though.

He is a little like Norris, doesn't have Norris' power nor does he turn his shots over like Norris but yeah, he looks a little slicker than Norris, keeps his cool better and can definitely take a better shot.

Bradley's power is deceiving though, he has decent power, enough to get his opponents' respect anyway, he could be a bigger puncher if he turns more of his shots over.

Yeah its his balance more than anything.

Yeah i think Bradley can punch decent. I mean Witter does not get put down very often so.

A side note........Holt's power is underrated imo. He has speed and accuracy that helps him hurt people. I said before the fight how fast Holt was, and that he would have an edge in speed, but having seen Holt a few times his speed still surprised me during the fight. The guy is quick handed.

Definitely, he hurt Witter, he hurt Cherry, he hurt Holt with a body shot, he just needs to turn more of his shots over and we'll probably be seeing more knockouts from him. Overall a very impressive performance, I was also very impressed by his mental focus, he never stopped coming forward after that knockdown, never strayed from his gameplan.

Yeah, I think I said before the fight that I thought Bradley had a slight edge in the handspeed department, I was wrong, Holt has the faster hands, he's a quick guy.

                      Good observation.

Bradley was soo focused in the ring wallk, and during the referee's instructions etc. He was deffo switched on for the fight and all business. Ironically i believe Holt let the occasion get to him. I felt that little outbust during the referee's instructions was a sign of the pressure getting to him, and i believe that might be one of the reasons he faded in the fight, because he was winning, but mentally i dont think he could handle it.
