But they both got weak physiques, they just don't appear that strong or that solid in the body over all, they're easily pushed around, and they both get weaker as the fight goes. Watchin Escobedo after the 3rd or 4th round is similar to watchin Oscar when he fought Paq. Escobedo's whole body starts to fade after a period of time. His punches become arm punches and he just starts lookin weak over all.

I don't know how much strength they can pack on him before he breaks the lightweight limit, but he looks like he needs it. Fighters lean on, or pressure him, and he starts to bend and move like Gumby just after a few rounds. And his punches get weaker/lazier off and on throughout his fights. But he's got a great jab, he's accurate, has some speed, it's just he gets weak quick fast. He's basically like Christian Mijares, but he appears to have more potential.
I think Escobedo was a last minute fill in..If I heard correctly..He might have been training full speed when the oportunity came up..I could be wrong though i thought thats what i heard.

He had been scheduled to fight in the end of March out here in Sacra at Arco Arena against Kevin Kelley, when Barrios got hurt, he was called into replace him...i had heard that he had only trained for 3 weeks prior so he maybe had a good month of training

That was a very touching moment in the sport, the stuff of legends.

At the end of a glorious career, a beloved fighter gets some ice put on his nuts. Further commentary is unnecessary.

This was a great fight. Best on the card, which was really entertaining from start to end. I had Escobedo winning 95-92. Cool to see Escobedo step up in competition. Though it wouldn't necessarily bennefit either one of them, I'd really like to see Escobedo vs Antonio Demarco. Demarco still needs an opponent for July on Shotime...

I like Escobedo he could be exciting. After the first few rounds i was thinking he is becoming one of my favorites to be huge. But after Carlos Hernandez gave him hell i was thinking he just isnt ready yet.
