dude he never ducked oscar ....he and oscar are good friends...oscar thought by fighting guys smaller than him he might have a chance...and pacquiao only fought oscar after larry merchant thought of the idea of having pacquiao fight oscar....and roach knew the weaknesses of oscar....

btw oscar always had more problems with body shots...hatton has him down in 5-7 rounds....cracks his ribs.....

His only fight he had a problem with body shots is the Hopkins fight, and hopkins was a middleweight, and Hatton is a light welterweight.

Plus Oscar wasn't even knocked out in the Pacquiao fight.

true to some extent...hatton and cotto are probably imo the best body punchers....and some have said hatton throws the left hook to the body at deadly force...oscar always had an above average chin...and i think pacquiao's power above 130 is not as strong as it really looks
