Muhammad Ali respect
Im sick of all the hate Ali gets on here from all the so called 'boxing fans' who paint the ceiling everytime the rest of the world has to suffer through a tedious Klitschko patty-cake-a-thon. The man is an Olympic gold medalist, and fought the best, the rest and anyone else worth his time. He sparred with future world champions, and beat the likes of Cooper, Patterson, Foreman, Frazier, Quarry, Liston, Mathis, Chuvalo, Foster, Norton, Moore, and Spinks. Lastly, Ali had a charisma and ambition which propelled him to greatness outside the ring, making him into a world reknown icon, somethign neitehr Klitschko will ever accomplish. I understand wanting to respect the current heavyweight champions albeit lackluster ones, but there is no need for all the negativity Ali receives on these boards.

You'd be surprised, there are people who say he is some how 'overated' or 'hyped' because he was an American, and I frequently read how Vitali or Wlad would 'destroy' him if they fought prime on prime, which I don't see happening at all.Comment
