I almost had to mute the TV during the Ortiz-Arnuoutis fight when they were talking about his shoelaces... so annoying.

He got shut out by a shot Castillo in the fight two fights before Castillo got steamrolled by Hatton.

He's not very good, and I thought it was a joke that he was put into the mix of this lightweight tournament.

Now, it's pretty obvious that Julio Diaz is a ****ing joke... disappointment after disappointment with this guy.

this obvious hating.. i'm a personal friend of rolando.. and i've seen him vs ex champs and take care of business.. in sparring he was taking corrales (RIP) to school.. his style is a little boring but he's never looked hungrier.. i've seen him where he dazes people and doesnt go in for the kill.. but i was impressed with the killer instict he showed this fight.. i know what he did for the castillo fight and i dont excuse him 4 that.. just a bad night.. and his training time was not sufficient.. i know that if he get a proper training camp he would of given castillo a run 4 his money.. so i'd just look out for this kid.. he's good.. but too defensive.. i hope he gets a name next fight.. like katshidis or a casa.. but the future will show you guys that this dude is talented..

It's not hating because his resume up to this point is one of an underachiever if he has the talent that you say he does.

Honestly, if you compared all the resumes of the fighters in the tournament, he was obviously the odd man out. He is not a young prospect with one loss or so, and he is not a solid, established veteran with a good win or two... he really was the one who did not belong.

This is his first big win, but... it is something that Julio Diaz should not have allowed, because Diaz was supposed to be a big thing a few years back.
