Is Hatton's Footwork Overrated?

Coming forward and rarely showing angles is good footwork? Thats hattons style, is to come forward and rarely to show angles.

Hatton in my opinion, has slightly quicker feet then Pac. We'll have to see how Pac can fight going backwards. Got nothing against Pac's footwork but dude can get off balance, watch him against JMM...reason why JMM was able to counter him very well

Ermmm..ok. You can critize Hatton for a lot of things, lack of a jab, his grappling tactics etc, but I find it hard to critize his footwork. It is exceptional.

How could his footwork be overated if he was beating Paulie to the jab. From 1-10 I give him a 10 at being able to close the distance. He has imrpoved his head movement, is more patient and uses the jab more. Don't count him out

I call what you're saying bull****, because I'd like you to find a post I made which say he has no skills.

He does have some skills, I can appreciate the things he's good at, but overall I don't think he's a great technical fighter with anything but average footwork. If this offends you, sorry pal.

Nobody counted him out. Ever since this fight was announced I always was the one telling others not to count him out!

Beating a one-handed Paulie Malignaggi to the jab is probably like trying to beat a 10 year-old boy scout to the jab. Paulie had no offense at all to keep Hatton away. Please don't try to use that fight as an example of Hatton having exceptional footwork.
