What's Pitalua done in recent fights to be fighting for a belt? And he's 39 years old and well past his peak. I don't understand why he's rated so highly.

You could say the same about Valero up to a point, but not to the same extent; and he has had the licence problem as an excuse, preventing him from getting meaningful fights; and he's approaching his peak rather than being years past it; and he was also highly rated at Jnr Lightweight before he moved up. I can understand him getting a shot at a title, but not Pitalua.
