How Much GREATER Would These Fighters Be/Have Been...

    Pernell Whitaker, without the *******.

Muhammed Ali, without the three year gap.

Oscar De La Hoya, if he would have fought the last three rounds of the Tito fight.

Tommy Hearns, with a better chin.

Meldrick Taylor, if he wasn't from Philadelphia.

James Toney, if fast food didn't exist.

Julio Cesar Chavez, if he had better speed.

Mike Tyson, if he hadn't of gone to prison.

Salvador Sanchez, with 5 more years of life.

Felix Trinidad, if he'd have kept fighting for a few more years after Hopkins.

Humberto Soto, if he had been matched better coming up.

Joan Guzman, if he was more porfessional about his career/weight.

Amir Khan, if he could take ANY punch.

Enzo Maccarinelli, if he didn't have a knack for sucking.

I'm serious about all of them, just phrased the circumstance as a joke.

    Answer/discuss/add, what ever you choose.

    Discuss.

Ike Ibeabuchi would still be flooring fools in the HW division too if he hadn't been locked up.....Just think if he and Tyson would have collided or seeing Holyfield or Bowe or even Lennox fight him.....would have been real good times.

Biggest disappointment there is Tyson, cuz dude was already king of the world when he was 21. The fact that he had time to gain experience and get even better at that time was insane. Dude coulda been champ for a ****in decade or more if he hadn't ****ed himself up. It kinda adds to Ali's aura that he still was able to do what he did after bein taken outta the sport for a couple yrs imo.

The thread title should be changed to "what if these fighters didn't have Human flaws".

Every fighter has his flaws no matter how good he is and sometimes we spend to much time looking at them like untouchable gods.

Good post. I agree with both comments.

James Toney without the fast food would've been a serious threat to anybody.. He's a throwback, and a diciplined James Toney would've taken the head of most boxers
