Bailey's not as one dimensional as say a Juan Urango, but he's not as durable either. At least with that home run power he's been able to stay around this long. I thought he was done after the Cotto fight. And the Ngoudjo fight could have gone either way too, I thought he won by a round.

i remember that cotto fight, lol....that was surgical destruction by cotto....always on the line of fire, not getting hit and ripping bailey with brutally accurate power shots....

I remember the first time I saw Baily, he destroyed "Bolillo" Gonzalez. When a saw him do that to a tough fighter like Gonzales, I knew this guy had some sick power.

It definitely is a legit KOTY candidate. Teddy Atlas kept talking about Bailey's "world class power" since the very beginning of the telecast and sure enough he displayed it on Friday night. From that one angle in the replays, the way Figueroa dropped right off the screen was crazy.

The only thing that ****** was Figueroa did seem to be genuinely hurt for several minutes after that. He was dazed for a while. I hope he's OK and can come back.
