Does anyone else think.......the fathers or relatives of fighter should shut the **** during a fight? I mean see how many people with in Chavez Jnr ear inbetween rounds? Snr should of kept his beak out imo, because his son cant listen to 3/4 people at the same time. Plus he is getting mixed instructions from all of them.


I just got around to watching Hearns fight, and Hearns whilst not in the ear of Hearns like Chavez Snr was with Junior. I feel they should shut the fcuk up during a fight, because when Hearns went down Tommy was obviously hollering something to him from outside the ring. Not to say Ronald would of survived anyway, but........

The Hearns fight reminded me off the Nunn vs Toney fight even though it was totally different lol .where someone was shouting to Nunn when he rose to his feet after that big left hook, whilst Nunn was trying to listen to what they were saying Toney just steamed in and poleaxed him with another punch.

What about Lou Duva? if he had kept his mouth shut Meldrick Taylor would of beaten Chavez.

The trainer should be the only one talkin to the fighter, but fights get emotional as ****. Hard to blame relatives who are there for gettin loud at their guy, but I agree it'd be better if they didn't.

i know the only person should be talking is the trainer. but Chavez Sr. knows better than his sons trainer (who is Chavez Sr. brother) anyway.

Yeah unfortunately its just one of them things. I guess we would do the same, if one of our family members were involved

Trainer should have all control in and out of that ring during fight night...And a good well trained fighter wont let distractions get in the way of his trainers instructions ...Father or no father.

What made me laugh was that Tommy Hearns seemed more interested in porking Yorgey's wife than he did about the welfare of Ronald

She is fit though.
