Patterson was too big in his prime. He'd have knocked Jones out cold and matched him in speed.

people forget roy jones is 5'10, that's actually small, most guys that size are supermiddleweights, hopkins, tarver, dawson etc are all 6 foot or above, jones packs more muscle than them and is heavier for his frame

when jones was a heavyweight he was 199 pounds, patterson fought at around 183 pounds

Very good point. I im sure that Jones has the faster hands of the 2 so i dont know how Floyd would be able to handle a guy who weighs more than him but has faster hands and better movement.
