Starting To Get Worried For Hatton's Chances

After watching some of things Hatton has been saying in press conferences and even some of his heavy bag work, I think some of his fans need to start worrying.

    1) The only way he can beat Pac (imo) is to move away from the left and work his way in through there, smothering and getting the inside work done. So far he hasn't even hinted about this opportunity and how to exploit this weakness, all iv'e heard so far is

-"Im gonna be on the front foot"
    -"Im strong at 140"
-"Ill be on his chest, he cant handle my power"

Freddie Roach must be ****ting himself and surprise surprise is predicting the early KO, why? Because he's already ******** on Hatton thinking he can employ the usual 140 straight line- bull rushing tactics that he does against just about everyone else.

    2) When Mayweather SR was asked about tactics for hatton beating Pac, he came up with jack **** other than Pac being knocked out by two bodyshots before. Floyd, how the f.uck is Hatton gonna get to Pac's body if Pac's constantly sharpshooting and moving around the ring? Then he started harping on about how great of a trainer he was and how that would make the difference. I mean, I don't expect Floyd to give all the secrets away, but it seemed like he was ******** on Hatton rushing him to the body.

    3) Hatton on the heavy bag, i'm not sure how much to read into this, but he kept circling to his right I believe, which is into pac's left, I think he's doing it to get some leverage on his own right hand and set it up off the jab, then get inside. I can tell you now if he thinks he can move into Pac's left on fight night he wont even know what hit him.

Are serious? You managed to get all that by watching Hatton for 2 min on a light session on the heavy bag?

I picked Pacquiao to win but I don't know if he's goingt to destroy Hatton as some might think. As far as him not mentioning his strategy, what fighter ever does?!?! hahah

Hatton is talking to hype the fight up, that's what they do. It's called "PROMOTING" the fight. I wouldn't look anything into it.

I think Hatton's strength and size advantage will play into this fight and I do think Pac would be foolish to stand and trade with him because that's what Hatton wants.

I just think overrall, Pac's speed will be too much for him in the end. I'm looking forward to a good fight and think Hatton is a tough dude, he's not going to be a push over.

Thats a second. PS. Some fighters do tell, some give clues.

And thirdly, If you study his fight with Paulie, he keeps circling to his right in that fight to try and land the solid lead too. He cant do that against Pac, He can win, but I think he's too concerned with thinking he can rush pac and pac will just crumble because hatton is strong at 140. It doesnt work like that, he's gotta work his way in sensibly.

Hatton also talked about using the Jab more too which is fair enough, but it doesnt mean as much if he's planning on walk straight up to Pac and firing it, pac will just move to the side, shoot.

Hatton's kiddin himself if he thinks he can outbox Pac. His only chance is to batter him to the body in close.

I think you are looking at the negatives far too much...

            the positives for hatton are

            1) hatton IS stronger than pac
            2) this is pac's first fight at 140, where hatton has ruled and is undefeated at
            3) hatton knows that pac cannot fight off his back foot so hatton has to force pac back to win
            4) pac is indeed hittable, especially against guys that aren't as quick as hatton
            5) hatton's grappling skills are impeccable... he is as good as GSP
            6) if the ref is not Cortez, then hatton has a chance to hit and hold and foul his way to victory

Hatton is a pressure fighter. It's gonna be interesting to see how can Pacquiaos' footwork and speed help him when Hatton only comes forward all night. Posters say Hatton will be taking huge shots, but I believe Collazo and Mayweather hit harder than Pacquiao and Hatton took those shots better than I expected for a 140 pounder going up to 147 after 40 something fights at 140.
