that's one of my all time favorites...
I met a guy who was buddies with Carbajal in AZ. From what I hear, Carabajal was a pretty crazy dude back in the day.

I believe he was the first guy to make a million in a fight in his weight class.

gotta say that my favorites really weren't there. Definitely Vasquez/Marquez was the best. Ali/Frazier also great. I'm also a big fan of Corrales/Casamay. Hopefully Pacman/JMM will get there too.

marquez vazquez are the kings of the trilogy.....the barrera morales triliogies are tainted because of bad scorecards....i had morales winning the 3rd fight easily

Both of them were the first ever to make a million dollars under the LW limit I believe. Amazing fight though, one of the best, and most forgotten, trilogies.

I enjoy re-watching Barrera - Morales for the skill, violence and the fact that you know they really didn't like each other (that added to the drama).

But Bowe - Holyfield is extremely entertaining... and not just because of the dumbass Fan Man.

Heavyweights have forever gotten the most glory mainly because (I think) people enjoy watching big dudes KTFO. It's just more thrilling to people to see a 200+ lb. dude crumble. But, often, it seems (to me) Heavyweight fights can have plenty of boring moments because the bigger guys give us less action, most of the time, during an entire fight. They get tired more quickly it seems and they're more likely to take rounds off.

But with Bowe - Holyfield those guys were just awesome. Plenty of highlights.
