    If Cortez is the Ref for Hatton V Pac.....

    Hatton should "accidentaly" punch him in the face in the first round.

      Ricky Hatton didnt lose that fight because of Cortez...


      He lost that fight because he did his little tired two step bounce and walked straight into a left hook with his hands down...

      THATS WHY, he lost.

                      whoever was holding it didnt matter... the ref didnt lose the fight for him..

                      he walked in with his hands down, almost careless... and got cracked...

                          Really? i don't know, what about the Soto- Lorenzo fight, you saw how he F***ed that up and they weren't holding. Yet he was jumping in there like a complete f****n ******. I don't know

                              Joe Cortez is a weak ref though. I think he's one of those refs who gets affected by the crowd and the pressure.

                              i'd rather have someone else ref the fight instead of Cortez.
