Now this is the best example of a hometown referee!!!!

At 1:10 in the 10th round Lazcano Clocks Hatton with a Left hook and he stops throwing completely and starts holding. Ref breaks him and hatton tries holding and starts falling all over himself. For some reason the ref breaks them and starts warning Lazcano for no reason. The ref turns around and Ricky lifts his shoe and the ref now gives him time to get it tied. Watch the video and listen to the announcers reactions.

    Total bull****!!!

Mayweather showed that hatton is a sucker for the check hook. Pacquiao will be landing his counter left at will by the middle of the fight.

Hatton barely makes it through a round without holding/pushing and hitting, i've always said it, overrated club fighter!

When i first saw this fight I was outraged at the ref. After watching it again I saw it wasn't really that bad, If Hatton would have lost then the ref would have gotten bashed for not letting Ricky tie his shoes. It was a fair fight I think Ricky did well in holding Lazcano when he was in trouble, It's what you're supposed to do. Every fighter holds when theyre indangered, some even low-blow you.

Oh I agree the ref needed to break them and warn lazcano but not for 20 seconds or whatever. A simple "don't push on the back of the head" and a break would of done the job especially when one of the fighters was hurt from a clean left hand.

If Hatton shows up the way he did against Lazcano, Pac will take him apart.

Note: Freddie Roach thinks the Mayweather fight took something out of Ricky.
