Why Did Taylor Turn Down Froch For Lacy The First Time?

Why turn down a shot at a title in another class, trying to figure this out.

Just another American fighter who is deathly afraid of a Euro fighter.

He just came off 2 losses, He wanted a tune up. He knows Froch is tough so I don't think he wanted to fight him just like that, Belt or not. Plus Lacy has been wanting to fight Taylor for longer than Froch, not to mention more money for fighting Lacy. If you were a pro boxer, would you not go were the money is? answer honestly.

After the losses to Pavlik, fighting a guy with the power of Froch was the last thing Taylor needed. He wasn't confident enough to fight Froch at that point.

No, this is common sense... its exactly why he did it...

He's Jermain Taylor, he made a name for himself, and will be able to get more and more title shots in the future...

**** look at Zab Judah... hes done F.uckall and STILL gets title shots...

I think he made more money in that Lacy fight then he would have taking on Froch.
