Can Sturm ever become notable?

Can current WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm become notable? If so how can he do it? He is a good fighter maybe the most underrated champion in the world today, and has realistically beat everyone he has ever fought. For sometime now he has just seemed to be languishing away in obscurity. I think if he beat a well known American fighter that would help alot, kind of like Calzaghe.......what do all of you think?

The thing with sturm is that hes got skills, but he gets paid good to stay in germany, so why leave? not to mention that when he did go to the states, he got robbed. i wouldnt be surprise if he went across seas tho if the the money is right.

He doesn't have great power, So he won't make for exciting fights. Beating a big name would really help him out and beating a big name in an impressive manner.

but if Sturm were to beat Abraham before either had fought Pavlik it would do almost nothing for him because casual fans will say; who is Arthur Abraham? Oh he got beat by that guy who lost to DLH........

I'm not to sure if two Euro guys will go over big in the states. Calzaghe/Kessler wasn't a big fight here that every casual fan wanted to see. People started to recognize Calzaghe after the Lacy beating, but had no idea who Kessler was.

Matter of facts if Abraham beats Pavlik, Abraham vs Sturm in Germany will be biggger than Abraham vs Pavlik in the US. Theyll make more money too

Oh without a doubt Sturm/Abraham would do great in Germany, even with Pavlik never having been in the picture. I'm talking more mainstream recognition though, I think Sturm beating Pavlik after Pavlik losing to Abraham would do more for him marketability wise than beating Abraham after he beats Pavlik.
