He's a good boxer. Just not quite to that elite level. But he is a game opponent for anyone. Has some good wins. Antonio Diaz, Ben Tackie, Courtney Burton, and Stevie Johnston. Plus he gave JLC one hell of a fight and competed well against Harris.

his fight with JLC was like a lesser version of the Corrales/JLC fight. Had a lot of similarties including Tony Weeks as the ref, Joe Goosen was the trainer of Lazcano, lots of power shots and Lazcano had the same type of swelling Chico had. Its worth the download for ppl who havent seen it.

Good fighter, was top ten lightweight for the best part of a decade. Shame that he couldn't grab a belt but two of the three title fights he had where aginst elite level opponents and he came up short and the Harris fight was very close.

I thought he had Ricky hurt really badly twice when he fought against him last year but the ref stopping the fight so ricky could tie his shoes was ***ing horse****!! He had him hurt and Im sure one more solid punch would of put his ass down.

You need to go and rewatch the fight because what you just wrote is totally inaccurate, well the part about the ref is, the rest is opinion anyway.

good solid fighter, but just not good enough to beat a top fighter.

I don't know the announcers were saying it and most of the press shared my views on that as well. I mean Ricky was winning the fight hands down but that round he looked glassey eyed and ready to go.

*** all that! At 1:10 in the 10th round Lazcano Clocks Hatton with a Left hook and he stops throwing completely and starts holding. Ref breaks him and hatton tries holding and starts falling all over himself. For some reason the ref breaks them and starts warning Lazcano for no reason. The ref turns around and Ricky lifts his shoe and the ref now gives him time to get it tied. Watch the video and listen to the announcers reactions.

                    Total bull****!!!
